Year 3 Weekly Spellings

Year 3 have been learning how to add the -ation suffix onto root words in SPaG. Ask your child what the suffix means and if there are any special rules to remember when you add -ation onto the end of a word like 'create' or 'relax'.

This week, Year 3 pupils have the same spelling words for each group. Our spelling tests will be on Friday. Can your child write a sentence using each of the -ation spelling words?
