Shadow Investigators.

Year 3 have been investigating shadow and light to end their science unit. 


The pupils made tinfoil figures to experiment with shadows. They learnt that shadows are created when an object blocks a light source. The children also observed that the shape and position of the shadow changed when the direction of the light source was changed.

Our Lovely Nature Walk

 Today, Year 3 walked around school searching for signs of nature. We found all sorts of interesting plants and creatures. We saw beetles, slugs, flies and spiders. We heard a dunnock, a magpie, crows, a robin and a blue tit. We discovered that the Secret Garden has become a wilderness and is a peaceful sanctuary for nature within school grounds.
