Year 3 Jays Spelling Words

On Tuesday mornings, Year 3 Jays have their spelling test. The spelling test is not about scores but about identifying how we can strengthen the pupils' spelling skills and use of vocabulary. 

Below are some high frequency words which the children will often use in their writing. The second set of spellings are more advanced words which will help to extend their use of vocabulary.
