Fantastic Fossil Hunters!

Year 3 have been learning about the process of fossilisation, as part of their rocks and soil science topic. Today, Jays were palaeontologists for the afternoon! We had lots of fun discovering our salt dough trace fossils and observing the change from soft 'mud and sediment' to hard 'sedimentary rocks' that fossils undergo.
